Issue 9 of The Diecast Magazine features a variety of scaled diecast models including Australian and International, race cars, road cars and much more.
With 80 pages, this is the biggest issue ever! Issue 9 is a classic rematch in 1:18 between Holden and Ford models from Classic Carlectables. In the blue corner is the latest release from Classic Carlectables, the 1973 Bathurst winning XA GT Hardtop of Alan Moffat. In the red corner is the HX Monaro LE coupe. While we look at the Monaro in detail, we also take the opportunity to update the full Monaro range from the Classic Carlectables stable.
Small-scale collectors will be pleased to find a couple of new releases in 1/43. The Ford XA Falcon GT four-door sedan is the latest from Trax and this model forms part of the Opal series. We also take a look at the Holden GTR-X coupe. This exciting coupe project by Holden in the ’70s is now modelled in 1/43 by Models 56.
